We have a unique opportunity for an inventory controller to join a global energy company based in Newcastle,:
**Position Summary**

Position: Inventory Coordinator

Company: Leading International Energy Company (operating in 100 countries)

Location: Newcastle

Duration: Initial 12 month contract with chance of extension
- Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager, out in house warehouse coordinator is responsible for warehousing processes, stock quality and inventory management. In this position you will be accountable for maintaining and monitoring written & computerized records of all warehouse transactions.
- You will be expected to summarise systems issues and standardise procedures for end users; working with the Warehouse Operations Manager to enhance systems and stop issues from occurring.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Perform ABC analysis and review regularly layout heat map to align with changing circumstances (stock policy, production batch sizes, etc.).
- Managing the cycle count schedule, issuing tasks to appropriate owners and collating count statistics.
- Analyse inventory discrepancies, perform root cause analysis and suggests actions to prevent recurrence. Focus areas are: stock differences, losses & breakages, number of internal movements
- Set-up and manage warehouse KPIs dashboard: ensure the KPIs are available at the right time and accurate. KPIs are focused on building improvement actions for where necessary.
- Manage safety related reports dashboard set up: accident frequency, incidents, near misses,, safety tags etc.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
