**Job Description**:
Responsibilities include:

- Managing the role of Principal Designer / CDM Adviser under the CDM Regulations.
- Manage and ensure the delivery of Health and Safety Consulting team outputs, in accordance with agreed timescales and quality standards.
- Develop strong reciprocal relationships with clients and members of the project team.
- Providing wider Health & Safety consultancy services to clients.
- Preparation of fee proposals - attendance at Client presentations if required.
- Be a primary interface with AECOM clients (new and existing).
- Provide full Health & Safety consultancy duties to AECOM clients including our internal market.

**Specific Skills Required**:

- Able to deploy plans that are appropriately comprehensive, realistic and effective in meeting personal, project and business goals.

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent knowledge of CDM 2015
- Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
- Experience in the production of Health and Safety related documents
- Experience in industrial construction projects and H&S construction advice.
- Good knowledge of construction processes
- Excellent knowledge and use of MS Office

Preferred Qualifications:

- Degree qualified
- Experience in design/construction
- Experience in Health & Safety
- NEBOSH General Certificate / Construction Certificate
- Membership of Association for Project Safety
- CMIOSH
- NEBOSH Diploma (not essential)
