**BioteCH4** own and operate a group of anaerobic digestion facilities across the UK. We also provide biological support, emergency response and feedstock supply to other operators within the industry. Our industry expertise means we not only have the knowledge and experience to deal with all the food waste the UK produces. We also have the capacity to handle whatever quantity you need us to, from the majority of sectors across each of our plants. In 2023 BioteCH4 handled 602,318 tonnes of waste, applied 416,732 tonnes of digestate to land, and generated 296,896 MWh of energy.

**Hemswell Biogas** is a large processor of food waste located in Lincolnshire and has been designed to handle a wide range of waste feedstocks and capable of producing 13.1MW energy generation. Through a process called Anaerobic Digestion it utilises the waste as a raw material to create methane, which in turn is used to generate both gas and electricity that is 100% renewable and exported to the national grid.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Administrator on a fixed term contract (up to 12 months maternity cover) to join a great team of people and make a difference within a supportive and values-led Organisation.

**Overall Purpose of the role**:
The main responsibilities of this role include the management of all administration requirements relating to the feedstock being delivered to plant and the digestate being exported from site.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Liaise with Commercial Manager & Planning Team regarding new customers & waste streams
- Inform hauliers of correct load information
- Manage existing waste stream information and update where necessary
- Provide reports to internal & external sources
- Provide cover for weighbridge as and when required
- Being an excellent communicator
- Provide cover within the Commercial team where & when required
- Create new Business Partners and add new business on to system
- Ensure licence & Insurance information up to date & compliance checks have been made by Commercial Manager
- Ensure data is available for clients KPI’s
- Tracking invoice queries and ensuring they are dealt with in a timely manner
- Answer ad-hoc driver queries when visiting site as to process and procedure
- General administrative tasks
- Actively seek continuous improvement in all processes and procedures.
- Entering and Checking pricing on the system
- Investigating and resolving errors
- Investigating and resolving invoice queries
- Have a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team
- Positive mindset with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Follow company procedures

Good working knowledge of Excel is required

Working knowledge of SAP/WR1 systems would be an advantage as would experience in the waste/AD industry

Working hours Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:00 with 1 hour lunch.
