Join us as Head of People Platforms
- Joining the team at an exciting time, you'll inherit responsibility for key OneBank platforms, underpinning broader transformation initiatives within and beyond NatWest Digital X
- You’ll be accountable for the technical direction of our People platforms within the Colleague Platform & Network Services domain and you’ll be responsible for our the bank-wide Workday platform, supporting an array of journeys that all colleagues across the bank rely on
- We’ll look to you to bring together a range of innovation opportunities linked to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and Learning & Development

**What you'll do**:
We’ll be asking you to own the remediation of technical issues and the simplification and improvement of the platform architecture and technology. You’ll build the platform roadmap, working with the centres of excellence to make sure you have the right the resources. On top of this, you’ll use your expertise to make sure that business solutions are optimised for our customers’ needs and the overall technology strategy.

You’ll also be:

- Taking ownership of the financial, commercial and flow performance of the platform
- Managing the platform risk culture, making sure that teams effectively collaborate to mitigate risk
- Delivering the regulatory reporting and managing the relevant budgets provided

**The skills you'll need**:
In this role, you’ll need to have in-depth domain or platform product knowledge and experience. Operational risk management, financial management, collaboration and negotiation are all important elements of this role, as is strong commercial acumen with an acute understanding of the business landscape. You'll have a solid grounding in technology and cloud platform management, and experience leading change at pace.

You’ll also be expected to have:

- Strong leadership skills, including Agile and servant leadership experience
- Architecture, design, and engineering skills, relevant to the specific platform
- Experience of working and running high performance, large scaled Agile and non-Agile programmes, projects and teams
- Good stakeholder management skills and the ability to promote and drive advocacy
- Demonstrable experience working with, and driving alignment and value from technology suppliers
- The ability to build capability and develop change readiness within and beyond the team
