**About the role**:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated industry specialist to be involved in the training and assessment of the region’s future aspiring Health and Social Care teams, through the Adult and Apprenticeship programmes at Cambridge Regional College.

This position involves the reviewing, mentoring, assessing, and supporting of our Adult Care Workers and their employers.

The primary role will be assessing students for their Knowledge, Skills and Behaviors against the Qualifications and Apprenticeship Standards both at work and while they are training, building them to gateway and supporting them through End Point Assessment.

Reporting to the Work Based Learning Manager, you will be required to support learners in line with College procedures and maintain accurate written and computer-generated records for learners. You must be able to competently demonstrate a wide range of personal and industry sector skills to ensure effective support for the learners, employers and the team.

**What we are looking for in our role**:

- Appropriate industry qualifications to Level 3 or relevant experience are essential.
- An assessor qualification is essential.
- An IQA qualification is desirable.
- Ability to work flexibly when required including evening, weekend, and summer holiday periods.
- In possession of a current driving license, and be willing to use own car, insured for business use, or alternative means to travel extensively.
- Related industry Health and Safety and Safeguarding legislation knowledge.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail, organised, and a motivated team player.
