I am currently recruiting for an experienced Administrator to join an exciting fast-paced, growing community health organisation based in Waterloo. This is a temporary position for approximately 3 months with the potential to turn permanent.

The role is key to the effectiveness and efficient functioning of the service, therefore will require robust organisational, communication skills and a positive approach to customer service.

The post holder will support the smooth operation of a range of support processes. These will include referral processing, appointment booking and processing practitioner orders.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm

**key responsibilities**:

- Senior level office administrator duties
- delegating tasks to other receptionists and administrators
- Take calls from clients and deal with client's needs
- Ensure client referrals are processed within set timescales
- Book appointments for clients or direct them to the appropriate practitioners
- Take telephone calls
- Providing professional administration services to clients.
- Manage and maintain confidential patient files on a database and paper records as required
- Filing and archiving client records
- Record client data accurately on appropriate service database.
- Understand and make use of spreadsheets to present necessary data when required
- Process medication orders from practitioners in a timely manner and record accurately
- General administration (record keeping, filing etc.)
