As a part of the Operations team, the role of is vital in maintaining, ensuring compliance, and enhancing safety on our site. You'll be reporting directly to the general Manager and supporting in making our operations efficient. Your primary goal is to ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of our sites, addressing issues promptly and maintaining operational excellence.

While each day will bring different challenges, your main duties will include:

- Kitchen Management: responsibilities include ensuring site compliance, maintaining a hygienic kitchen, maintaining equipment, overseeing inventory and compliance.
- Maintenance: Overseeing the upkeep and management of our infrastructure, including a vast amount of commercial kitchen equipment, as well as planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and repairs for essential building services.
- Coordinating with External Partners: Coordinating third-party service providers including cleaning services, waste management, equipment servicing, plumbers, electricians, etc.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
The Facilities and Operations Managers priority will be the overall operational performance and compliance at Mission Kitchen, New Covent Garden Market. Responsibilities will include:
**Site Operations**:

- Hands-on site management and hosting as one of the key duty managers responsible day-to-day operations.
- Supporting the delivery of and documenting services such as maintenance, cleaning, testing and inspections, waste, recycling, etc.
- Being the key person responsible for troubleshooting and having a proactive attitude to investigating, repairing and maintaining equipment, tools and key infrastructure.
- Coordinating works and services scheduled with third party suppliers.
- Maintain and update the troubleshooting guide for the site team.
- Maintain and update equipment call out log for all equipment.
- Proactively review PPM reports and action recommendations.
- Support in the fulfilment and delivery of our corporate gifting program.
- Where appropriate, supporting site improvement projects across the site to deliver improvements to the space.

**Kitchen Management**
- Support the General Manager across site compliance, including Food Safety, Health and safety, HACCP reviews, Risk Assessment and COSHH reviews, PPM certificates, EHO checks and pest control_
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen, setting cleaning standards._
- Maintaining Kitchen Equipment in good working order, delivering preventative maintenance and carrying out investigations on any reports of issues._
- Managing stock and inventory of all kitchen items. _
- Update and review of all equipment manuals on the members portal._
- Supporting remedies and tasks outlines in annual external audits_
- Ensuring all members are appropriately trained, inducted and are using equipment correctly and provide additional training where necessary._

**Insight and Analysis**
- Maintaining operational and inventory records for all elements of the site.
- From time to time and on specific projects - conducting in depth analysis of site performance, using data to inform decision making around improving systems, layouts and operating procedures across the site.

**Location and Working Hours**:
Our site address is: Mission Kitchen, The Food Exchange, London, SW8 5EL. We're open from 6 am to 10 pm, Monday to Friday, and 8 am to 8 pm on Saturdays.

**Salary**:
£27,500-£32,000, depending on experience
