This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Practitioner to join our Occupational Therapy department at University Hospital Wishaw.
- Formal qualification at HNC Level or equivalent level of experience in a health / education / social care environment plus short specialist courses relevant to specific clinical area
- Valid Full UK driving licence

**Knowledge, training and / or / experience required to d**o the job**:

- Awareness of health legislation relevant to the clinical area.
- Knowledge of the clinical speciality/area process, techniques and / or activities relevant to client group.
- Effective listening, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Time management, planning and organisational skills.
- Working knowledge of basic information technology.
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team
- Ability to learn and develop new skills and maintain a record of learning.
