The position

By joining our team in Renewables you will have the opportunity to:

- Support the safe, reliable generation of our operational assets by ensuring the compliant and efficient supply of goods and services.
- Prepare Requests for Information, Requests for Quotes and create Purchase Orders and call offs against contracts in SAP/Sourcing Cockpit system for all supplier requirements including day to day requisition requests for services and material and spare parts purchasing.
- Establish and manage Purchase Orders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Work closely with internal O&M teams to understand ‘the need’ and expedite orders to ensure on time delivery of spares and materials.
- Source new suppliers as and when required to meet business need.
- Drive best practice and advise local Business Lines on operational procurement processes.
- Set up new suppliers and complete necessary supplier checks in compliance with company process.
- Enhance Equinor’s supply chain by ensuring compliance with our governing Supply Chain Management processes and local procedures for operational procurement tasks.
- Build strong supplier relationships in local markets and drive supplier collaboration for value improvements.
- Develop local supplier network for the refurbishment of defective spares.

- Relevant Bachelor's degree desirable and / or proven relevant purchasing experience from a technical, manufacturing or O&M background.
- Strong commercial experience and understanding of procurement tasks.
- Experienced in using SAP for procurement activities.
- Strong awareness of the UK supplier market and understanding of establishing and promoting Local Content.
- Commercial mindset with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to expedite orders.
- Demonstrable ability to forge strong stakeholder relationships both internal and external.
- Independent and flexible, with the ability to work within multidisciplinary teams across the organisation.
