£350-450 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)
**About the role**:
Vision for Education are recruting for a Mental Health Support Worker to support vulnerable children and young people aged between 11-16 years old who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. All pupils have been assessed and are supported with an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP).
**About the school**:
The aim of the school is to work with pupils experiencing barriers to learning related to SEMH and other needs so that they take pride in learning, communicate effectively and develop pro-social and independent skills with the goal of becoming responsible, regulated and ready for the workplace. This is a full-time Mental Health Support Worker role
**Requirements**:
To be considered for the role of Mental Health Support Worker you will:
- Experience of working with secondary school aged children
- Experience of working with pupils with SEMH
- A passion for education and helping people
- A nurturing and engaging personality
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
