This position sits in our **Marketing & Technology** service based in London. We combine data, technology, creative content, and paid media to crack brands' business problems & drive revenue through a variety of digital marketing solutions like ad campaigns, augmented reality, and chatbots. Our clients include ASOS, Just Eat Takeaway, Twitch, TikTok, and The White Company.

**JOB PURPOSE**:
As People & Culture Business Partner at DEPT®, you will be working in a team of enthusiastic and driven colleagues. We are looking for someone to continue to support our growth, ensuring that DEPT® remains an enjoyable and fulfilling place to work for our people. This role would suit someone who is either a HR Business Partner looking for their next challenge or someone who is looking to step up into this level/role.

This role is a strategic as well as a tactical role, providing visionary leadership around sustaining & developing our culture, developing our team and elevating the P&C programmes across the company.

You will be the sparring partner to the management team and leadership team and work directly with the UK P&C team to design and roll-out initiatives to support our people and develop their skills. You will also be responsible for managing and nurturing the career of a People & Culture Advisor.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
The role of P&C Business Partner is exciting, varied and constantly evolving. In this role, you will:

- Strategic thinking on long term plans and goals for MTUK, create and implement our strategy for supporting people_ (in line with the Global P&C strategy & local needs)_
- Continue making Dept® an enjoyable and fulfilling place to work
- Provide coaching and guidance across the employee lifecycle, including performance development, employee engagement, employee relations, talent management and succession planning
- Implement company-wide learning & development programmes and work with the leadership team to understand how people can progress in our company and have the tools they need for personal and professional development
- Support the P&C Director and wider team to harmonise and align the people processes across the UK
- Lead on the company's DE&I commitments and develop programmes & initiatives to help drive things forward focusing on recruitment, training, culture, policies and industry-wide initiatives
- Improve and oversee the performance development cycle ensuring that every employee has a career plan, defined objectives and receives regular feedback
- Support and coach managers with leading their teams and establishing great working practices with their peers
- Manage the compensation, wellbeing and reward programmes, looking for ways to constantly evolve and improve
- Oversee the employee engagement satisfaction surveys and deliver against action plans
- Oversee employee relations, ensuring we are compliant and following best practice in how we handle all employee related matters
- Ensure our people-management infrastructure and processes are efficient, compliant and measurable
- Develop our events calendar focusing on fun, wellbeing, good and learning
- Own internal communications around people-based initiatives
- Provide insightful and actionable analytics on our team to drive data-based decision making
- Manage all people systems and processes to further define, deliver and develop them over time as well as remaining innovative & compliant
- Work together with the broader People function network within Dept®

**SKILLS AND PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE**:
Essential:

- Experienced HR Business partner
- Experience of working within a similar industry
- Experience working at a fast-growing business
- Experience developing HR strategies & operations
- Emotionally intelligent with an ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy
- Solid understanding of UK employment law, policies and best practice
- A people person, passionately invested in helping people
