Are you an aspiring Business Administrator looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience in the utilities/housing/social care industry?

Our client, who are in a fantastic position to respond and adapt to the changing needs of the housing and care sectors and are expanding their North West team

As a business administrator your responsibilities will be to support the business in all aspects of utilities administration, ensuring your employer are managing utilities and council tax for our service users in the most cost-effective way.

Working hours 9am - 5pm

Salary £22,000

Driver Essential

Other Responsibilities Include:

- Developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
- Supervising and coordinating the work of staff members
- Managing budgets and financial records
- Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and partners
- Overseeing and coordinating the planning and execution of special projects and events
- Representing the company in meetings and negotiations with other businesses or organizations
- Register all gas, electric, council tax and water accounts with best value for money utility company.
- Ensure the property has the most appropriate Meter Type for the service user and the company.
- Arrange installation of smart meters in all properties.
- Auditing
- Carry out the duties in accordance with the company Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Always have due regard to equal opportunities, and to work in a fair and reasonable manner towards all people, ensuring service standards are maintained for all cultures.
- Observe and maintain strict confidentiality in respect of guests, clients and all company information
