**Primary Purpose** **Admin Assistant Counter Officer**

As an Admin Assistant within the Customer Service Offices and Centres you will contribute to safeguarding identity through managing customers arriving to counter services and carrying out related activities to deliver a world class customer service.

**Working hours, Pay rate and benefits**
- Working Monday - Friday 37 hours per week working every other Saturday. The shift pattern would mean you would work one week 3 days at 10 hours per day and 7.5 hours on the Saturday. The following week without a Saturday you would work 4 days at 9.15 hours per day.
- pay is £10:60p/h

Please note, this is a temporary of 6 months with the possibility of extension.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet all customers and visitors at reception and provide appropriate assistance
- Effectively organise the daily appointments, welcoming customers, setting expectations, explaining the process, putting customers at ease and handling queries including complaints
- Check customers in for appointment at the appropriate time, complete required checks and establish if applicant is fit for interview
- Plan and prepare for all allotted interviews, ensuring that any required special arrangements are facilitated
