**Your new company**
One of Liverpool's premier Not for Profit organisations with City Centre offices.
**Your new role**
Reporting into the Group Finance Director, this is a 12 month FTC covering a period of secondment. You'll be leading the management accounting and finance business partnering functions for a £400M + organisation with four main divisions. Two direct reportsand a team of 12 staff. Duties will include:

- To operationally lead on the production of timely and accurate management accounts, liaison with managers supporting and advising on the development of strategies to ensure services are delivered in accordance with budgets and business plans
- To prepare and present management account reports to Group and Subsidiary Boards and management teams in a confident and professional manner, providing suitable advice and support to Boards and management teams.
- To support subsidiary growth ambitions, providing advice on financial management and controls, setting up suitable systems to support delivery of targets.
- To develop processes for the effective management and reporting of the asset investment programme (c£25m per annum)
- To operationally lead on the preparation of 5 year business plans in respect of subsidiary organisations
- Preparation of Financial Key Performance Indicators, including sector scorecard and regulatory VFM Metrics.
- To provide support, advice and challenge to the group transformation programme, including costing, business case review and monitoring of efficiencies
- To ensure transformation projects are accurately reflected in budgets and financial plans
- To develop and implement robust investment appraisal models for asset regeneration and investment and other capital expenditure
- To provide support, advice and analysis on Financial aspects of projects across the group including new initiatives, options appraisal, service restructures, capital expenditure initiatives and capital grant bids

**What you'll need to succeed**
ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with previous experience leading management accounting / business partnering teams within a complex organisation. You'll have exceptional commercial finance skills, and also be able to to develop the existing team members.
