HOLIDAYS: 28 days per annum, plus bank holidays

ACCOUNTABLE TO: Communications & Marketing Manager
BASE: Osney Mead, Oxford with periodic travel to services across Oxfordshire. Flexible/agile working arrangements are available.

Purpose of role: *
The role will focus on providing a broad range of marketing and communication support to our internal and external customers. In addition, the role will be responsible for the coordination of our main social media channels.

As part of a small team, your responsibilities will vary from week to week depending on work generated by our external and internal customers, but regular tasks will include:

Administration*
- Writing, editing, co-ordinating and publishing content across various channels including websites, social media (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Tik Tok, YouTube and Linked In) press releases, print and and various marketing materials.
- Exploring new methods of marketing & communication, sharing the outcome/success with the team.
- Working with our external and internal customers to create and co-ordinate our social channels to maximise engagement.
- Co-ordinating our internal communications programme; developing and implementing it to ensure effective communication across Oxfordshire Mind.
- Creating and developing successful internal communication plans for specific projects and change programmes.
- Developing creative ideas for campaigns, activities, and events to maximise engagement with both internal and external customers.
- Co-ordinating all social media channels, including creating engaging content to build brand awareness, using Hootsuite, Canva and Adobe Packages.
- Producing, editing, and distributing updates and materials for external and internal audiences, including newsletters, social reporting, and case studies, using MailChimp.
- Keeping the media data base updated.
- Ensuring that confidential data is managed in line with GDPR and within relevant organisational policies and procedures
- Undertaking all work within required deadlines, re-prioritising workload as necessary
- Synthesise social media and web data into meaningful insights and clearly communicate complex findings.
**Creativity**:
- Creating and preparing marketing and communication content for internal and external use.
- Keeping up to date with new technology and new marketing methodologies.
- Utilising social media to promote the vision and brand of the organisation.
- Keeping the Oxfordshire Mind’s Website updated using WordPress.
- Designing promotional materials using Canva and other similar platforms.
- Drafting press releases and media briefings.
**Client/Project Partners support**:
- Conducting detailed and regular marketing/communication research for internal & external customers.
- Use all appropriate methods of marketing and communications, providing an excellent client/supporter journey

- Any other duties commensurate with the role

**Essential**
- At least two years’ experience in administrative roles within marketing or communications
- Excellent communication skills including over the phone and online with a high standard of written and verbal English.
- IT skills, including use of Microsoft 365 suite CRM systems, Canva (or similar), social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, LinkedIn & Twitter) and website updates using WordPress (or similar), Hootsuite, Mailchimp and Adobe Packages.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of team, seeking advice and support when appropriate.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and time management skills; working in a calm, efficient, professional, and methodical manner, with the ability to prioritise - often with differing priorities.
