**Finance Business Partner | Wirral | £45,000 - £55,000**

**The Opportunity**

Are you a confident management accountant / finance business partner looking for an interesting and hands-on new challenge?

This is a role in a growth business - a diverse and expanding group of circa £150m turnover. You’ll be working in a key divisional unit as the primary finance business partner. You’ll be providing a vital bridge between central finance and the operational / project management teams.

It’s an engineering and build environment and you’ll be partnering on some interesting, high profile and high value investment projects.

There’s bags of scope to add value. You’ll be using your analytical skills, intuition, communication skills and commercial acumen to get under the skin of true costs, variances, financial trending, margin erosion, bottlenecks in production, profit drivers and general success factors on a project by project basis.

You need to be someone who enjoys getting out and around the business - hard hat and boots on rather than strapped to your PC or laptop 8 hours per day.

You’ll also be someone who enjoys presenting financial info to a non finance audience AND using their knowledge to create a meaningful and insightful real-life narrative to the pack.

You need:

- To be a hands on and assertive management accountant / finance business partner.
- To have excellent analytical and reporting skills.
- To be comfortable in a site based role where there’s lots of discussion with non finance colleagues.
- Great Excel skills.
- Keenness and natural drive to make a difference and suggest positive change.
- Natural ability to spot trends and get a sense of what both the numbers and the business messages translate to.

**Salary**: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
