Administration Assistant

We are currently seeking a Administration Assistant to join our rural Leominster client on a full time, permanent basis. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced administrator, with an interest in purchasing, to join a fast-paced, hardworking team.

- Inhouse training and the encouragement to progress within the team
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
**What you will be doing**:
- Ensure purchase orders contain all correct and necessary information
- Contact suppliers regularly to discuss the status of purchase orders
- Liaise with team members and colleagues regarding status of purchase orders
- Maintain accurate price information
- Maintain purchasing records on IT system
- Maintain Approved Suppliers List
- Responsible for ensuring purchase orders delivered on time and in full, and imported goods are cleared without delay
You will be responsible for placing, progressing, and monitoring purchase orders, sourcing goods and services, and issuing instructions for import clearance to customs.
**What we are looking for**:
- Previous experience in a purchasing role would be advantageous
- Previous administration experience is with good analytical skills
- Successful communication and teamworking skills
- Excellent negotiating skills and good commercial awareness
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £22,500.00 per year
