**The Role**:
NHS Lanarkshire have an opportunity for a Clerical Officer within Palliative Care Services to provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support, to clinical and non-clinical staff in order to ensure the smooth running of the service.

**What we'll need you to bring**:

- Educated to standard grade level or experience in a similar role
- Well developed interpersonal skills in customer care
- Excellent communication skills
- Good organisational and planning skills
- Understanding of a range of procedures and processes
- Ability to prioritise work and work on own initiative whilst under pressure
- Proficient I.T. skills which include a working knowledge of Microsoft packages
- Ensuring confidentiality, diplomacy and discretion are maintained at all times

**It would be great if you also have**:

- Experience in an admin/clerical role
- Experience in a confidential work setting
- Experience dealing with members of the public
- Ability to work in a busy office environment
- Must be flexible around working patterns/shifts

**Contract type**:
Permanent

Part Time

21 hours

Please note this is a part time post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata.

**Location and Working Pattern**:
This role will be based in Blantyre Health Centre

The working pattern for this role is based on a rota covering Monday-Friday, 0800-1700 hours..
