You will have demonstrable experience in a similar role, with excellent knowledge of tightly managing employee relations cases. We are looking for someone who can work at pace and who is used to working to Key Performance Indicators - this is a busy team, with multiple priorities ongoing, so it’s important that you are highly organised and able to manage your time effectively. You will possess the ability to exercise sound judgement, analyse risk and escalate as required. You must be an effective communicator and ready to build meaningful working relationships with our key stakeholders quickly.

This role is home-based but will require the postholder to live in or around the North West region of England.

**Essential Skills**:

- Associate CIPD membership or equivalent experience
- Experience of working in a People/HR role advising different levels of management
- Experience and knowledge of the essentials of employment law and managing employee relations cases
- Experiences in HR systems and processes
- Ability to respond to a high volume of queries, ensuring attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgement, analyse risk and escalate as required
- Excellent relationship management skills
- Ability to manage and prioritise a complex, workload with good time management and planning and organisation skills
- Travel required including occasional overnight stays
- Commitment to the organisation’s Guiding Principles and Behaviours
