Join Our Team as a Finance Assistant (Part Time ) 18.5-22.5 hours per week - Temporary 1 year Maternity Cover**- **working hours to be discussed - must include Monday and Tuesday
The post holder will contribute to the overall responsibility for day-to-day tasks in the finance department.
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Create, send, and track sales invoices
- Follow up on invoices working closely to resolve queries with external funders.
- Credit control
- Cash banking
- Control of company petty cash
- Purchase invoices inputting and payment runs.
- Record keeping both digital and paper format.
- Cashbook management and bank reconciliation
- Perform routine calculations to produce analyses and reports as requested by the Finance team.
- Help oversee and manage individual accounts.
- Collect and enter data for various financial spreadsheets.
- Reconcile any discrepancies or errors identified.
- Assist Finance Team in creating financial reports on a regular basis.
- Aid Finance Officer in accruals and prepayment calculation
- To assist payroll department as and when required
- Adhere to the charities financial policies and procedures.
- Answers question and aid staff and managers, customers, and clients as needed
- Suggest changes or improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and cost reductions.
- Any other duties that fall within the scope and responsibility of this post.

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: £12.15 per hour
Expected hours: 18.5 per week
