Reed are delighted to be partnering with an independent, not-for-profit research institute for the recruitment of a Workplace Manager to join the facilities team at their Wallingford site. The Workplace Manager will be responsible in providing managementacross the team to ensure effective and efficient facilities management is carried out across their office accomodation and laboratories.

Responsibilities in brief include:

- Responsible for effective management of the team, service provision and customer focus
- Support strategic service development
- Liase with Procurement team to ensure purchase compliance
- Contractor and contract management
- Provision of a high quality, safe and clean environment
- Provide professional advice and support across departments

The workplace manager will have had prior experience in a similar role and will have carried out effective leadership across a team. Successful communication across all levels of the business is key as is experience in managing finances and resources successfully.
