Fryer/cook - Alandas Street Food Events Team

Alanda’s is a local, family owned business with multiple locations including our permanent mobile street food unit that sits on the Longniddry bents beach front just 20 mins outside the city of Edinburgh.

We’re currently looking for 2 new fryers/cooks. Our first event is the 16th to 18th June followed by the 22nd to the 26th of June, then the 2nd of July and then from mid July onwards we will be located at the Edinburgh fringe. We have temporary and permanent positions available with locations being either our events team which all of our events are located usually within edinburgh, or a full time fryer position at our longniddry bents beachfront kiosk.

The beautiful coast of Longniddry is very accessible by public transport with a bus stop right outside, a train station 5 minutes away and on-site parking availability.

We have flexible hours and shifts available so can work round any commitments you may have.

The job role will include:

- Preparing, cooking, and frying what we sell on our menu
- Making up customer orders
- General cleaning and keeping your frying area clean and organised at all times
- Replenishing fridge stock throughout the day
- Working as a team, multi-tasking, and using initiative

Alanda’s also attends many events throughout the year and has multiple shops so there is room for growth as an employee within the company.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: Up to £12.00 per hour
