Wellingborough, United Kingdom Rowan Gate Primary School Full time

Rowan Gate Primary School have vacancies for Teaching Assistants (SEN) Level 3 to join the team at our Wellingborough and Rushden sites. If you are committed to inclusion and have energy and enthusiasm and have experience of leading learning sessions for pupils with additional needs, Rowan Gate would love to hear from you.

Rowan Gate is an inclusive school that, through challenging and fun opportunities and within a safe, secure and stimulating environment, aims to meet the education and care needs of pupils with a range of SEN, including those with complex and medical needs. We work hard to ensure that everyone is treated with empathy, dignity, respect and care. We firmly believe in entitlement and ensure access to the whole curriculum which is differentiated to meet the needs of individual children, working with patience and flexibility to ensure that all children reach their full potential. We use a range of therapeutic interventions to support access to the curriculum, working alongside external providers such as ThrIve, NMPAT and JOGO.

We are a continually evolving and highly successful primary school for pupils with severe and complex learning difficulties with sites in Wellingborough and Rushden, Northamptonshire and satellite classes at another local primary school.

We are committed to the professional development of staff and are proud that we have been able to support a number of our Teaching Assistants through a route to Qualified Teacher Status and who have gone on to successfully take up ECT positions with Rowan Gate or who have moved to mainstream education to develop their knowledge and experience.
