**Job description**:
Join us as our Operational Resilience Lead
- In this key role, you’ll be leading and developing a team of specialists to support the implementation of the NatWest Group Operational Resilience framework and supporting standards and controls across the organisation
- You’ll effectively partner with stakeholders across the bank’s franchise and functions in support of the implementation, embedding and improvement of operational resilience and service stability strategy, policies and frameworks

**What you'll do**:
As our Operational Resilience Lead, you’ll take ownership of our Operational Resilience Framework, supporting with guidance and control objectives, management reporting and where required escalation of identified resilience risks that could impact critical services.
Day-to-day, you’ll be:
- Serving as a trusted advisor to service owners across the bank, supporting the development of, and challenging, resilience plans to make sure they are fit for purpose
- Leading a team of technical specialists to provide guidance on, and review, the proposed designs of new and changing products, processes and IT services from an operational resilience perspective, providing feedback and challenge as required
- Communicating clearly between the Service Delivery & Operational Resilience and function, franchise and technology domain teams, translating operational resilience requirements into business language and positively influencing outcomes
- Leading a team of experts that support stakeholders across the bank, providing insights into best practice and using analysis, experience of judgement to provide a view of service performance and resilience
**The skills you'll need**:
We’re looking for someone with a strong understanding of Operational Resilience disciplines and regulatory expectations, and proven capability of delivering to requirements in a regulated organisation. You’ll come with excellent leadership skills and experience, along with the ability to motivate staff through a period of significant change.
In addition, you’ll also have a proven track record of successful relationship management in a technology context and the ability to work with senior managers and executives to foster strong working relationships to achieve business objectives.
You’ll also demonstrate:
- Wide knowledge of key technology services, service delivery and management disciplines
- Good knowledge of risk management and controls in financial services in a dual regulated financial services firm
- An ability to articulate multiple layers of process, planning, communication and control, and experience in forming future strategy to deliver department goals
- Strong influencing, communication and collaboration skills with ability to operate effectively at all levels
- Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
