**The Role**:

- The role of Environmental Crime Enforcement Officer will have a key role in undertaking a wide range of duties across the service, this will include conducting investigations into illegal dumping of waste, working with businesses and residents to reduce waste being left on the street, the issuing of fixed penalty notices for breaches of environment legislation, working closely with other enforcement agencies within Liverpool City Council and external partners such as the Police.
- The role As a fast-paced role we will require the post holder to work well under pressure and have the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- The role Environmental Crime Enforcement Officer will be required to work flexibly that will include weekend working, day and evening shifts and bank holiday working.
