**The Role**:
As a Business Support Officer you can make your own powerful contribution to the lives of our residents by joining a new team that will re-set the future of housing in Westminster. We have two roles, one to support the Director of Housing Services and Resident Experience and one to work with the Director of Housing Needs. Both Business Support Officers will help to deliver a high-quality housing service that is centred on the needs of our residents and communities.
Success depends on being proactive and strategic in the support you offer, anticipating needs and ensuring everything runs smoothly. Day to day you will coordinate the Director’s diary, organising events and meetings, and ensuring that papers and briefings are ready as needed. You will also manage Director’s inbox and delegate correspondence and casework to other senior officers. As the primary point of contact on behalf of the Director, you’ll be expected to develop and maintain good working relationships with a wide range of senior council officers, council members and key stakeholders. It’s a demanding, fast-paced environment, but you’ll be surrounded by a passionate and dedicated team and will have every opportunity to learn and grow.

**About You**:
This is a chance to gain important insights into the management of Housing Services while also building senior-level exposure. You’re likely to have experience of providing executive-level administrative support, where you will have managed key business relationships. You’ll demonstrate plenty of initiative, and will be able to work under pressure, dealing with competing priorities and meeting tight deadlines. You’ll also be used to managing complex diaries. Knowledge of financial administration would be helpful.
