**About The Role**:
**Security Badge Co-Ordinator**
**London**
**£15.20 per hour**
**Monday to Friday 07:00 to 19:00**
The role forms part of the security team therefore a current SIA Security Guard or a Door Supervision License are requirements for this role. A CCTV License would be advantageous.
**Responsibilities of the Security Badge Co-Ordinator**:
- Analyse, update and maintain physical security systems including all access platforms along with other CCTV and alarm systems.
- Resolve matters for physical security systems and network, escalating significant issues
- Supporting new staff on-boarding processes by creating profiles, issue, register and activate access badges for staff, vendors, contractors
- Supporting Visitor Management System enquiries, managing the resolution process with stakeholders
- Provide a seamless service across regions to assist travelling staff site access / extending global service support attending to issues or team resilience
- Assist with access control vendor management: booking service visits, ensuring PPM is carried out in line with schedules
- Probe access systems and data to produce reports, identifying recommendations / observations as appropriate
- Review system information to ensure up-to-date data is retained, ensuring compliance with GDPR & SIE policies for personal data usage, storage and removal
- Support processes for purchasing, invoice checking, and payment
- Following manager direction, review CCTV and access system information for accident or incident investigation, reporting findings accurately and confidentially
- Maintain stock and equipment to support regional requirement for efficient access badge services
- Communicate with manufacturers, contractors and technical specialists to resolve issues and to assist with the installation/upgrades of system devices
- Perform preventive maintenance actions including system back-ups, error log reviews, analyse database size and perform integrity checks
- Collaborate with IT to ensure network connectivity of all devices and resolve network issues
- Other work or projects conducive with role and Corporate Security requirements
**Qualifications and Requirements**:
- Direct experience with relevant access control/command center software
- Experience with badging, access and CCTV in a corporate security environment, having a basic understanding of programming concepts for surveillance systems in a corporate environment.
- Knowledge of physical security in a range of corporate settings
- Maintain integrity, professionalism and confidentiality at all times
- Proven ability of working on own initiative and proactive problem-solving
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to promote excellent customer services
- Effectively prioritise tasks and ability to manage multiple workstreams
- Be able to work effectively as a part of team in person and virtually
- Proficiency in using Microsoft packages and other IT platform
- SIA License Door Supervision or Security Guarding, a CCTV License would be advantageous.
