Accountable Recruitment are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk on a 6 month FTC based in Widnes
Salary £23,000
Hybrid working pattern - 1 day in office per week (after training period)
Flexible working hours
As an International accounts payable clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring day to day duties are performed to a high standard, reporting to the Accounts payable team leader. Ensuring invoices are entered on to the system quickly, accurately and efficientlyto ensure we pay to agreed supplier commercial terms.
Duties;
- Matching of freight and Maintenance invoices against relevant costs in RAM
- Posting invoices directly to sage where necessary
- Liaising with various departments around the business to ensure completion of tasks when necessary
- Accurate and timely processing of invoices
- Provide support to the extended finance team
- Accurate and timely fortnightly payment runs of multi currencies
- Looking at process improvements pro-actively
- Building and keeping good relationships with suppliers
- Ability to prioritise without close supervision
- Ability to work independently and take accountability for own role
- Statement reconciliations
- Ad-hoc duties
- Housekeeping
- Experience in an Accounts Payable environment
- Experience of working in a fast paced environment
- Good communication skills
- Flexible
- Excellent organisational skills
- Good relationship management
- Knowledge of RAM
- Knowledge of Sage X3
- HSBC system online banking
