Student Culture Leader

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Student Culture Leader to join our fantastic team at Manchester Enterprise Academy starting as soon as possible.
**This is a Grade 6, permanent post working 35 hours per week, term time only plus 5 INSET days. The starting pro rata salary is £26,513 and the full time equivalent is £30,825.**
**Main purpose of the job**:
To lead students in making the choice to learn and excel, removing barriers to learning through strategic planning and intervention. To be responsible for embedded implementation and routines of the school’s behaviour policy.
To take responsibility for developing positive links between home and school, working closely with parents/carers. To work collaboratively with all school staff and external support agencies in order to support student wellbeing.
To monitor attendance, behaviour and the progress made by each student in their year groups and manage interventions.
To take a lead role in the supervision of the school, supporting all staff in maintaining a positive learning environment with high expectations, including out of lesson supervision/duties, ‘on call’, detention, other strategic support systems and strategic behaviour interventions.
**Key relationships**:
- The post holder will line manage the Student Culture Manager.
- The post-holder will work closely with the SENCO and relevant administrative staff.
- The post holder will work with staff across the academy and Trust as required including teachers and other year group teams.
