**The Job/Person**

The successful individual will play a key role in supporting the accounts payable function. You will be responsible for managing the purchase ledger, ensuring suppliers are paid within the terms of the business and all payments are recorded correctly and matched to purchase orders.

To be successful in this role you must have a can-do attitude, the ability to prioritise your own workload. Experience working within a accounts payable team and the ability work anonymously.

This position will appeal to a professional individual wanting to make their stamp within the accounts payable function. You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

- Processing purchase invoices
- Managing Supplier Purchase Orders
- Establishing relations with suppliers
- Resolving any accounts payable queries
- Carrying out any ad hoc finance duties

The role of Purchase Ledger Clerk is based in Edinburgh and is offering the following package:

- £24,000 - £27,000 per annum (equivalent)
