**HR ADVISOR- MATERNITY COVER**

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to cover a period of maternity leave on a part time basis
- 3 days per week.

This true generalist role will provide support to the business on all HR related matters and support the management team in recruitment, and executing best HR practices.

**About Murrayshall**:
Set in 365 acres of stunning Perthshire countryside you will find Murrayshall Country Estate. Lovingly restored over the past few years, the former home of Lord Lynedoch dates back over 400 years. It is situated just 3 miles from the cultural city of Perth, offering guests a tranquil haven in which to unwind and relax, with 40 elegant and spacious rooms and suites, 27-holes of stunning parkland golf, large function spaces and delicious local cuisine served in our 2AA Rosette Restaurant Eolas and Casual dining in Cairns.

We have an upcoming period of accelerated growth in the coming months/year with our estate development plans which will have a huge impact on our HR and Recruitment function. It is a truly exciting time to join the team.

**KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensure that all Managers and employees follow the correct HR policies and procedures
- Develop HR and Learning and Development strategy with Executive Team
- Assist in dealing with all manager and employee HR related queries
- Manage and maintain HR system and provide training to managers as required
- Oversee performance management process
- Ensure that annual performance evaluations and probation period evaluations are completed on time
- Advise and facilitate on all disciplinary and grievance issues
- Attend disciplinary hearings as required
- Manage recruitment processes with hiring managers and provide admin support where necessary
- Oversee absence management and holiday management working closely with managers
- Note taking for meetings/hearings
- Produce HR reports for executive team as and when required
- Run induction training and oversee onboarding process for all new starters
- Provide key administrative and business support to General Manager and other senior management in the hotel as required
- Provide coaching and counselling as required
- Conduct exit interviews and complete the appropriate exit processes
- Regularly attend department meetings to communicate any pertinent information and to assist in any training required
- Work with all departments on the development and utilisation of incentive and other types of motivational programmes

**EXPERIENCE**
- At least 3 years experience in a Human Resources advisory role
- Up to date knowledge of Employment Law and best HR Practice
- Hospitality HR experience preferred but not essential
