Patient Assistant

We are looking to recruit a Patient Assistant the post holder will join our friendly Administration/Reception Team to work across two surgeries in Ellesmere Port, Old Hall Surgery 19 hours a week and Westminster Surgery 7.5 hours a week.
**This vacancy is Fixed term**: 11 months
CWP has adopted the Living Wage. Where the standard Agenda for Change hourly rate is below Living Wage, pay will be supplemented to this level.
Duties will include working on reception, clerical and administration duties and supporting GPs, Clinicians and Service Users within our surgery.
Working days are Monday - Friday, must be flexible to work between the hours to 8.00am - 6.30pm.
CWP provides health and care services for local people, including mental health, learning disability, community physical health and all-age disability care - including the provision of three GP surgeries.

All new clinical support staff will be required to have completed or working towards the Care Certificate (CWP In-house 2 day training to be completed within 6 months of start date).
Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. A small annual fee of £13 per year applies.
New entrants to the NHS will commence on the minimum of the scale stated above.
