**Job Description**:
We are looking for an Events Officers, working within our Events Management team, who will provide high level, quality customer service and administrative support. This role requires early mornings and weekend working.
Based in Midlothian, the location is easily accessible from Midlothian and Edinburgh with free parking/ bus station - only 20 minutes from Edinburgh City Centre.
- Starting April 2023 for 3 months initially on a temporary assignment- £15.00 per hour- 35 hours per week with overtime required - early mornings and 1 day weekend on a rota- Monday to Friday 6 am to 2 pm**Responsibilities**:

- Focus on meeting very tight timescales.-
- Supporting events using various computer packages.- Provide administrative support to ensure activities are carried out accurately and according to plan and to ensure compliance with documented processes.- Data entry: create and maintain records to ensure information is up-to-date, easy to access and accurate.- Provide high levels of customer service in respect to queries ensuring responses are issued promptly, accurately and following guidelines while maintaining key stakeholder relationships.-
Experience and Knowledge:

- Experience in event servicing and coordination, both front of house and administration, is desirable but not essential- Manage multiple tasks while prioritising, according to schedule- Excellent customer service skills- Be able to understand written and verbal communications- Excellent attention to detail- Good, general administrative skills- PC literate with proficient and accurate keyboard skills- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.- Flexible working approach and ability to work on own as well as part of a team- Experience of working to tight deadlines and prioritizing tasks- Driving license
