Due to our continued success here at Fortem, we are delighted to confirm that we are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our brand new Kirklees project based in Yorkshire/Derbyshire. It will involve works such as fire compartmentation,fire door works and other associated FRA works such as fire alarms to multi occupancy social housing properties.

As the Project Manager you will organise and manage the delivery of project works in-line with the contract requirements, comply with quality and Health and Safety standards, and meet programme timescales and satisfaction targets whilst remaining on budget.
Other key elements of the role are to communicate effectively with clients, the project team and contractors, engage and develop excellent relationships with the supply chain and client representatives, and effectively manage internal teams.

Essential Criteria:

- Proven track record in delivering projects
- People management & team development skills
- Understanding of construction operations
- Full working knowledge of H&S and Environmental legislation including but not restricted to the CDM regulations
- Excellent project management skills
- Financial awareness, and understanding of budgets and how to bring a project in on cost
- IT skills including MS office and programming software
- A valid CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme certificate
- Scaffold Inspection qualification
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to read and accurately interpret programmes, drawings and technical specifications.
Desirable Criteria:

- ACIOB/MCIOB
- First Aid at Work
- ONC/HNC in Construction
- Understanding of social housing and energy efficiency measures
- Quality assurance
Other Requirements:

- Working knowledge of P&L accounting
