Bennett and Game are currently working with one of the UK's largest Freight & Logistics companies actively seeking a proven and established Business Development Manager to drive and generate New Business for the company based in their Liverpool (North Westlocation).

Our client are based all across the UK and offer complete UK & International Logistics & Freight. They offer unrivalled fast pace and dedicated logistics operations and have extensive growth plans meaning the progression and development opportunities withinthis role really are uncapped.

**Business Development Manager Position Overview**
- You will also be selling the full portfolio of multi carrier solutions, B2B, including Nextday UK, International, European Road Freight, Ocean & Air Freight Forwarding and General Haulage.
- You will be required to generate your own leads to pursue, in addition to researching your region, identifying potential opportunities and booking your own meetings.
- You must be a good prospector who is willing and able to develop new business from scratch. Self-management and organisational skills are key.
- You must be enthusiastic, self-motivated and ambitious as well as presentable, with good sales training and a full understanding and appreciation of the sales process.
- Produce professional reports and presentations to board level standard and create new improved working methods within the sales cycle.
- Work closely with the local Operations Management team. Create, design and implement new ways of selling and promoting services.

**Business Development Manager Position Requirements**
- Proven experience selling in the Freight, Courier or Transport Markets
- Knowledge of International freight markets (multi-modal)
- Knowledge of Same-day & Next-day distribution
- Desire to work for a rapidly growing market leader
- UK driving licence - Essential
- Willing to go out and gain new business (UK wide)
- Connections & industry relationships (highly desirable)
- Account Management & relationship building qualities are essential

**Business Development Manager Position Remuneration**
- £40 - 50k basic salary DOE
- Uncapped OTE
- Car Allowance
- Mobile & Laptop provided
- 22 days holiday + banks
