Inclusive Consulting is thrilled to be partnered with our neurodiversity charity client in their search for a diligent Senior Finance Officer to join their team based in Liverpool.

This charity supports families in understanding the specific needs of their child through a variety of services, and works to inform education providers about ways to help these children achieve their full potential in a classroom setting.

Reporting to the Deputy CEO, you will work closely with the wider finance team to ensure month end reports and key balance sheets are accurate and assist with credit control duties. You will also provide support and advice on a wide range of financial matters as needed.

In this role you will ensure the accuracy of all accounting records, oversee maintenance of the purchase ledger, and manage the invoicing and financial accounts processes. You will also assist in preparing the charity’s gift aid claims and grants proposals.

This position would suit an AAT qualified accountant with experience of using Xero or similar accounting software. You should be an independent worker with excellent time management and organisation skills.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage the charity’s Just Giving account into Xero
- Assist in the management and reporting of VAT
- Reconciling and posting the monthly credit and debit card statements
- Assist in the production of the quarterly reports for Board and any other supporting financial statements.
- Support the wider team with financial matters as needed

**Key Attributes**
- AAT Qualification
- Experience with Xero or a similar accounting software
- Experience of maintaining accounting ledgers and performing bank reconciliations
- Experience of using Microsoft packages with excellent IT skills, particularly Word and Excel
- An organised working style, able to work effectively and to deadlines.

**Salary**: Up to £40,000.00 per year
