Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Office Manager for our client based in Braintree on a temporary to permanent basis.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Serving as the point person for office manager duties including: Maintenance, mailing, supplies ,equipment, bills, errands
- Scheduling meetings and appointments
- Organising the office layout and ordering stationery and equipment
- Maintaining the office condition
- Partnering with HR to update and maintain office policies as necessary
- Organising office operations and procedures
- Coordinating with IT department on all office equipment
- Ensuring that all items are invoiced and paid on time
- Providing general support to the team when required
- Assisting in the onboarding process for new hires
- Addressing employees’ queries regarding office management issues (e.g., stationery, hardware, and travel arrangements)
- Planning in-house or off-site activities, like parties, celebrations, and conferences
- Filing of all documentation

**Skills, Knowledge & Experience**:

- Proven experience as an Office Manager, Front Office Manager or Administrative Assistant
- Knowledge of Office Administrator responsibilities, systems, and procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular)
- Hands on experience with office machines (e.g., scanning machines and printers)
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
- A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements
- Secondary/High School degree; additional qualification as an administrative assistant or Secretary knowledge

Working hours are Monday - Friday (40 hour working week). In return our client offers a salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience.
