Cambridge, United Kingdom The One Group Full time

There are a lot of stereotypes when it comes to working within practice but my client does things differently. This sentence itself can sound very cliché but after speaking to one of the Founding Partners it became apparently clear that these were not false words.

I am looking for a Trainee Accountant who will be reporting directly into one of the Financial Controllers being able to learn from the very best and rapidly accelerating your progress in the process.

Responsibilities include:

- Handling full accounts for small business clients, Preparation and submission of financial statements, client self-assessments
- VAT returns
- Consistent communication with HMRC, resolving any queries
- Bookkeeping

Personality fit is the main driving factor for this role; you will be open and willing to learn, possess a strong work ethic, able to clearly communicate with both internal and external stakeholders. My client are open to a variety of experience levels, whether you have never worked in finance before or want to transition into a practice if you are the right fit for the business then this could be a great opportunity for you.

Benefits include:

- Hybrid working, over 10 day period, 50/50 split (some people have worked from Australia for a few weeks)
- 31 days holiday (a day is added in annual leave with every year of service up to 5 additional days)
- Study leave (in the build up to exams you will get the day before and day of the exam off without having to take annual leave)
- PT classes (Weekly personal training courses are ran for anyone who would like to attend)
- Monthly lunches & massages
