Café on the pier is a family friendly, dog friendly café located in the beautiful surroundings of St Annes sea front, serving a variety of meals including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free, as well as classic British options such as fish and chips. We are looking to recruit 2 fish fryers to join our friendly team within our fish and chip shop.

**Job Purpose**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Administer all food orders and ensure adequacy of all supplies and ingredients for everyday cooking.
- Prepare all food orders in line with demand and to a high standard, according to required food production standards.
- Manage all fish prior to cooking and ensure compliance to all quality standards.
- Ensure storage of all food items appropriately.
- Perform all food preparation efficiently and maintain minimum wastage at all times.
- Maintain neat and clean workstation area.
- Following company policies and adhering to health and safety guidelines.

**Essential Skills and Experience**
- Ability to communicate with other staff.
- Thorough attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Team player skills, assisting other colleagues when necessary.
- Drive and determination to achieve performance and standards.
- Experience and enthusiasm to contribute and fully support the running of the fish and chip shop operation, combined with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Highly ambitious with a desire to playing a key role in the continued growth and success of the business.
- Be willing to learn, take instruction and work under own initiative.
- Knowledge of kitchen safety and health regulations.

**Salary**: Excellent rate of pay

Bonus scheme to be discussed.
