We are looking for a proactive and efficient administrator to join our team in Macclesfield. Within this role, you will work as part of a team in a busy environment assisting the contracts team with a variety of tasks. You will need to be detail orientated, have excellent IT skills and be a team player.
**Responsibilities**
- Providing administrative support to our contracts team made up of Estimators and Project Managers
- Answering the telephone in a polite, friendly and professional manner and managing the calls as necessary. This will include screening cold calls as well as transferring the calls and taking messages
- Arranging site meeting appointments with clients
- Logging leads, quotes and jobs onto our job management system/database.
- Updating and changing information as the job changes.
- Ordering Materials via purchase orders and issuing works orders to sub-contractors
- Material co-ordination
- Keeping all activity logged and up-to-date in an accurate manner.
- Scheduling of engineers using our job management system
- Typing & sending quotations to customers.
- Creating O&M manuals
- Processing variations
- Invoice administration
- Logging assets and signing in and out to engineers, keeping up to date records.
- Minute taking
- Ad-hoc admin duties
**Requirements**:
- 1-2 years relevant work experience
- Experience within a construction/maintenance organisation (desirable)
- IT Literate (SimPRO Experience would be desirable)
- Excellent Customer service skills.
- Excellent work ethic.
