To assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures as well as support all recruitment initiatives
**Client Details**
A company in Burgess Hill who are looking for a HR advisor on a fixed-term contract for 9-12 months.
**Description**
As an HR advisor your key responsibilities will be;
- Provide recruitment support to the Managers, liaising with external agencies and appropriate media.
- Give advice to managers on best practice for recruitment and selection procedures in line with company policy and with employment legislation.
- Ensure policies and procedures are kept up to date and in line with employment legislation.
- Provide support and guidance to managers on HR policies and procedures, including disciplinary and grievance matters, ensuring is in line with employment legislation and company policy.
- Monitor, review and report regularly on Company absence levels to assist in controlling both short-term and long-term absence absence levels.
- Liaise with payroll to ensure pay related information is processed.
- Review and report on the company compensation and benefit plans to ensure they provide the required level of remuneration, liaising with the benefit providers where necessary.
- Provide guidance to employees on the Company benefit schemes including Private Medical Insurance, Pension Scheme, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Childcare Vouchers, Cycle to Work, Give As You Earn and Life Insurance.
- Advise where appropriate and, in conjunction with HR Administrator, arrange learning & development courses for staff as required.
- Assist with HR project work in order to support the HR Business Partner in achieving both Company and departmental objectives.
- Maintain electronic (HR systems) and manual employee files so as to provide accurate and up to date records from which to produce reports and ensure adherence to the GDPR and the Data Protection Act.
- Assist with other HR matters as required by the HR Business Partner
**Profile**
As an HR advisor you should have;
- Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent experience
- Prior experience in recruitment is a plus.
- Knowledge of UK labour law.
- Consulting, understanding and making decision based on many factors from various disciplines.
- Concentration and ability to make correct judgement call rapidly
**Job Offer**
