**Vacancy Description**:
Veracity are looking for an enthusiastic Finance Admin Apprentice to join the team in Prestwick.

It’s an enjoyable and varied role, being the first point of contact for all customers, along with providing admin support to both sides of the business (Finance & Operations) This role may be entry-level, but it is a pivotal one to the department

**Salary**:
£14,500 per annum

**Working week**:
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

**Personal qualities**:

- Have a passion for numbers or an interest in finance
- Eager to learn and understand new systems when taught
- Outgoing and willing to ask for help
- Keen to gain experience within new departments and build great working relationships across the business
- A sociable individual who enjoys meeting new people

**Additionally, the following skills would be beneficial**:

- The ability to deliver a first-class level of customer service
- Good knowledge of Microsoft packages and any other systems (we can teach you the rest)
- Good attention to detail, so you can provide a monthly report on your progress in your role and apprenticeship
- A qualification within administration or computing at school or college
- Work experience is good but not essential, as long as you are willing to give your all
- Independence to manage your own workload, this isn’t a role to be micromanaged in

**Future prospects**:
Full time role on completion of apprenticeship. Veracity are also committed to staff development through their internal training programmes, either through moving to another role or becoming more qualified in your current one

**Important information**:
Throughout your apprenticeship you are supported by your skills coach and your account manager. They work with your line manager to ensure you settle in, help you develop all the skills you need to pass your assessments, and can provide one to one support.

At the end, as well as the valuable experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification.
