**Who are we looking for?**

An inspirational Intensive Engagement Officer who will provide resettlement support to offenders and ex-offenders, both in custody and in the community with the aim of supporting them to overcome barriers to their personal well being and successfully reintegrate into society. In this role you will work collaboratively in a multi-agency setting to maintain professional relationships and appropriate confidentiality of information.

You will need to have a clear understanding of the support requirements of people under supervision of the Probation Service and experience of providing information, advice, and guidance to this client group. Experience delivering interventions in a group setting with research, analysis, and problem-solving skills are essential.

You will have to demonstrate great listening skills and communicate effectively, while showing that you can appropriately respond to challenging behaviour when you need to. You will be able to developing practical and achievable resettlement plans and support the development of the interventions which are delivered alongside these plans.
- IAG level 3, or equivalent experience is essential in this role.
- A DBS check will be required for this role.
- A Prison Clearance Check will be required for this role.
