Role Overview

The Young People's Outreach Officer will play a vital role in supporting individuals to reduce problematic alcohol and substance misuse. This will involve addressing the complex issues associated with this client group, including rough sleeping and poor health.

The Officer will have a varied case load, allowing them to build trusting relationships with service users and support them on their journey to recovery. This will involve addressing some of the underpinning issues and engaging with partner agencies to achieve the desired outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide intensive support to individuals to reduce problematic alcohol and substance misuse
  • Address the complex issues associated with this client group, including rough sleeping and poor health
  • Build trusting relationships with service users and support them on their journey to recovery
  • Engage with partner agencies to achieve the desired outcomes
