We are looking for a Quality Officer to join the Quality and Regulatory team.

Your duties and responsibilities will be varied but your main duties will be:

- Qualification and approval of new customers and suppliers
- Coordination and investigation of deviations, liaising with wider departmental personnel to ensure progression and close out.
- Co-ordination of the company Corrective and Preventative Action system
- Support to wider departmental personnel in the correct close-out and management of corrective and preventative actions
- Ensure actions are completed within the agreed timelines
- Monitor CAPA effectiveness
- Co-ordination of the company Change Control system
- Ensure actions are completed within the agreed timelines
- Monitor Change effectiveness
- Performing assessments of product returns for approval by the Responsible Person
- Be an active member of the company Internal Audit program both at Head Office and within identified Peak Pharmacy branches.
- Support a culture of continual improvement within the team and wider company by:

- Promoting root cause analysis and use of appropriate risk management tools throughout all activities.
- Ensuring that all processes and working practices within your area of responsibility are constantly reviewed and any compliance or efficiency improvements are implemented as agreed within departmental priorities.
- Support the wider Quality & Regulatory function by:

- Ensuring adherence to Health and Safety, Good Distribution Practice and other relevant guidelines and legal obligations.
- Cross supporting team members, knowledge sharing and helping to develop skills and functional expertise.
- Ensure delivery of activities within your area of responsibility to ensure departmental and business targets are met.
- Act as a peer reviewed to check and approve work generated within your own and the wider quality team.
- Ensure any corrections or errors are fed back to the author of the work in a constructive manner with a view to preventing reoccurrence.
- Participate in company training within areas of expertise as required.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent attention to detail,
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities,
- Good understanding of applicable regulations, standards and best practices,
- Good numerical skills and the ability to handle and analyse data,
- Good knowledge of data analysis tools (e.g. Excel etc.),
- Communication, interpersonal and influencing skills,
- The ability to vary communication styles to suit the audience
- Working both within a team and individually to set targets and deadlines

The hours of work will be 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday at our Head Office in Chesterfield, with some flexibility for home working.
