DB Charles have recently partnered with a thriving architectural practice based in Worthing, that are seeing great recovery and busy times return in the post pandemic era. The business are now working with DB Charles Recruitment to identify and hire an Interior Designer.

The business initially formed after 2005 and focusses on architecture & design predominantly within the hospitality sector. Since formation, the business have never lost sight of the passion at which they must operate with. Each project & client always receives the great care & attention it deserves, this is evident in the business having received multiple awards over the years and promoting a happy business & staff environment and culture.

The role as Interior Designer will report directly into the Senior Director and work amongst the team of 18 others within the company. The day to day duties for the role will include:

- Taking briefings through to concept & creation
- Technical drawings
- Using AutoCAD, Sketch Up & Photoshop for numerous duties
- Producing hand sketches / storyboarding
- Presenting
- Liaising closely with other design & project management staff
- On site experience
- Ideally graduates within interior design / architecture highly preferable
- Background from the leisure & hospitality industry
- Well versed in AutoCAD, SketchUp & Photoshop
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong ability in producing technical drawings
- Hand sketching skills highly preferable
- Deadline management
- Understanding of materials & building regulations
- Ability to commit to a permanent role based at the offices in Worthing

The role will be working Monday to Friday with working hours of 9:00am to 5:30pm and the client is looking to offer a salary dependent of experience of £30,000 to £35,000 per annum.
