Our Employment, Skills, and Enterprise division play a crucial role in supporting individuals across Wales. From aiding the unemployed in securing sustainable work to empowering individuals with limited vocational skills to progress in their careers, our initiatives drive progress.

As part of the impactful Restart programme, we guide participants towards sustainable employment, enabling them to secure a more secure future. This programme is designed for those unemployed between 12 and 18 months, including those affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

We are expanding our team and are seeking an Employer Engagement Coordinator for our operations in Wales.

**Role Overview**: The Employer Engagement Coordinator will be instrumental in proactively cultivating, nurturing, and retaining vital local and national employer partnerships. This role will ensure that contractual obligations of the Restart programme are met while contributing to the development and execution of the Employer Engagement Strategy.**Responsibilities**:

- Proactively establish and maintain key local and national employer partnerships in line with Restart programme requirements.
- Create and source sustainable high-volume employment opportunities, including vacancies and focused job placements, aligned with customer needs and aspirations.
- Develop existing employer partnerships to ensure a consistent stream of employment opportunities that align with customer goals and growth sectors.
- Collaborate closely with the operations team and supply chain network to identify aspirations, conduct skills analysis, and align these findings with employment opportunities.

**The Successful Applicant**:
**Requirements**:

- Ideally, experience in similar welfare to employment roles or employer engagement in a performance-driven environment.
- Ideally, Level 4 qualification or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of the local labor market and growth sectors.
- Excellent communication skills across various mediums (verbal, written, behavioral), with outstanding negotiation and influencing skills.
- Willingness to travel within the Wales area.
