**Our client, an international Retail Group based in Central London is looking for an experienced Pensions Administrator or an Administrator with a keen interest in moving into the industry. This is a fantastic hybrid role, 3 days in the office andtwo at home, allowing a work life balance as well as a fabulous team environment when in the office. This is a long term temp role with a possibility of going permanent.**
- Day to day active, deferred and pensioner administration, including calculations, carried out to expected time and quality standards,

Activity includes, but is not limited to, AVCs, new joiners, opt outs, executives, general data maintenance for all categories of member, refunds deferred pensions transfers in (DC), transfers out, normal, late, early and ill-health retirements, retirementquotations, deaths in service/deferment/retirement. All Pensioner administration including adding and ceasing members to pensioner payroll, pension increases, tax queries, providing information to DWP, reclaiming overpaid pension instalments following deaths,tracing members when payments/correspondence are returned, commutation of pensions in payment, mortality exercises and general pensioner record maintenance including bank changes, address updates and power of attorneys.
- Efficient handling and processing of telephone, online, written and in-person pension entitlement, pensioner payroll and all non-member enquiries, providing clear and accurate information to members within agreed timescales, referring complex cases to theTeam leader.
- Work as a team to deliver Scheme Events including but not limited to Pension Increases, Benefit Statement production and Trivial Commutation initiatives
- Auto enrolment, processing casework as required and resolving queries from members and businesses
- Maintain good understanding of specific legislation, HMRC guidance, Scheme Rules and associated administrative processes and calculations.
- Prepare and submit HMRC individual/bulk member notifications and HMRC returns in accordance with stated timescales. Copy P60s to be issued to pensioners and beneficiaries.
- Process and update individual/bulk member records from payroll interfaces as necessary, including production of relevant calculations/documents and scanning/filing of documents. Generate standard systems reports as required.
- Verify activities (documentation and calculations) in accordance with internal, actuarial and legal guidance.
- Member data maintained with 100% accuracy and within agreed timescales, particularly following receipt of interface/transaction files and other notified changes affecting personal details and/or calculations.
- Carry out rolling monthly data quality reports cleansing data as required and reporting issues to HR/Payrolls to eliminate cause of issues
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of training for site contacts and member presentations from time to time.
- Provide input to member communications e.g. Statements, Pension Increase and work within team to deliver
- Maintain filing systems.Any other tasks required by Pensions Management Team

**About You**

**You will have up to date knowledge of specific pensions legislation and HMRC requirements relating to occupational pension schemes as well as strong numeracy, written and verbal communication skills, be IT literate, self-motivated, organised andact on your own initiative
