- We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented SEO Content Executive to join our industry-leading SEO team, supporting our consumer mobile brands O2 and Virgin Mobile.
- As an SEO Content Executive, you will create and optimise top-notch content to improve search engine rankings and drive traffic to the O2 and Virgin Mobile websites. You will collaborate with the SEO team to identify target keywords and develop strategies for incorporating them into our content. You will also analyse data and track the success of our content campaigns, communicating results to senior business leaders.
- To be successful in this role, you must be a skilled writer with a keen eye for detail and the ability to create engaging SEO-friendly content. You should also have strong research and data analysis skills and be able to translate performance into clear, actionable insights for senior business leaders.
- In this hybrid role, you will primarily work remotely, but you will need to visit the office 1-2 times per month for 2-day visits. This position is open to applicants from anywhere in the UK, and any necessary travel and accommodation expenses will be covered.
- Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct keyword research and identify target keywords to incorporate into content.
- Manage, segment and report on our tracked keywords.
- Create and optimise high-quality, SEO-optimised content, working with merchandising and content teams to implement and track changes.
- Identifying and implementing improved ways of working with other teams, such as running SEO workshops.
- Analyse data to track the success of campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
- Communicate campaign performance to senior business leaders.
- Collaborate with the SEO and content team to develop and execute content strategies.
- Work with outreach and digital PR teams to deliver effective link-building campaigns.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in SEO and content marketing.
- Requirements:

- Good working knowledge of on-page SEO fundamentals.
- 1-2 years of agency experience in an SEO or content marketing-focused role.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field.
- Strong skills in keyword research, keyword clustering, and copywriting.
- Data analysis skills and the ability to translate performance into a clear narrative for senior business leaders.
- Experienced with core analytical tools; Google Search Console and Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
- Excellent writing, communication & presentation skills.
- A creative flare with the ability to design clear slides.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Passion for SEO and driving results through content
- A passion for tech, digital, and connectivity
- Nice-to-haves:

- Experience with keyword tracking tools such as SEO Monitor.
- Good working knowledge of other SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, OnCrawl, and Ahrefs.
- Understanding of AI content writing and how it can be utilised in content delivery workflows.
- Working knowledge of schema markup.
- Experience working with a telecom or tech brand.
- Experience working within an enterprise brand.
- Experience with wireframing and advising on UX improvements.
- Experience with A/B or SEO template testing.
