About the role

We are looking for a talented and motivated SEO & Content Marketing Executive to join our growing marketing team. In this exciting role, you will be a key player in developing and implementing our SEO and content marketing strategy. You'll be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging content that attracts organic traffic, educates our target audience, and boosts our search engine rankings.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify relevant search terms and user intent within the financial services sector.
  • Develop and implement a content strategy that aligns with SEO best practices and business goals to generate leads, drive conversions, and deliver long-term brand value.
  • Create high-quality, informative, and engaging content for various formats, including blog posts, website copy, email, landing pages, white papers, and social media.
  • Optimise website content for on-page and off-page SEO, including title tags, meta descriptions, headers, internal linking, and backlink profiles.
  • Define and monitor KPIs to refine the execution of our content strategy and demonstrate data-driven strategies and growth in line with our overall marketing goals.
  • Monitor website analytics and track SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Ahrefs.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest SEO trends and best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with the Marketing Manager to promote content and deliver marketing campaigns across various channels.
  • Be involved in social media management and other content promotion.

Requirements

We are looking for an SEO & Content Marketing Executive with the following skills, experience, and attributes to be successful in this role:

  • Proven experience in SEO and content marketing, ideally within the financial services sector (or a B2B environment).
  • Excellent writing skills with a strong understanding of SEO best practices and ability to produce clear, concise, and engaging content in the English language.
  • Experience with keyword research tools such as Ahrefs/ SEMrush and analytics platforms like Google Analytics and Search Console.
  • Creativity and innovation in your daily work and in the content that you deliver.
  • Someone who can work independently, with strategic guidance and direction.
  • Someone who is constantly looking to develop and build your knowledge and improve your skills.
  • Organised, structured, and comfortable working to tight deadlines.
  • Resourceful and able to get up to speed quickly.

Preferred

  • 2+ years of experience.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress and HubSpot.
  • An understanding of user experience (UX) principles.
  • Graphic design skills (a plus).
